El Día de Los Muertos is a ritual developed over 3,000 years. The Aztecs, who were the ones to initiate this celebration, and saw death as the beginning of the cycle of life. They didn't believe in grieving. Instead, they invited the spirits of their loved one's once a year to commemorate their lives here on earth.
