Our Story

We are artists of plant medicine, crafting botanical offerings with reverence for the earth and the communities we serve. Every formula is made with care—100% natural, potent, cruelty-free, vegan, and thoughtfully low-waste.

Our roots run deep. Shaped by our Mexican and Scottish heritage, our work carries both ancestral wisdom and modern ritual through Earth-based and traditional practices. Each of our formulas have been crafted and refined for over two decades by our founder Yvonne Pérez.

We welcome you into our brick-and-mortar, a sanctuary in Portland’s Alberta Arts District where we formulate and produce our entire line in-house. Beyond our apothecary, we gather in creativity and care—hosting monthly self-care rituals and events for body and soul.

Founders Story

I am Abuela Yvonne— sister of the earth, herbalist, artist, doula, energy weaver and ritualist. I am honored and humbled to work with the plants everyday. To be in service to the community through the offerings we make, our brick and mortar, workshops and with my personal offerings as a curandera. 

For over 30 years, I have worked with medicinal plants, facilitated healing circles, and cultivated spaces for creativity and community.

My intuitive nature has taught me to lead with my heart and to trust the quiet courage that lives there. It is through this lense that I create, learn and dream—while leaning into conscious relationship with land, the elements, the cosmos, and of course my imagination.

I believe deeply in the strength of softening, of beauty, of circling together. 

What began as a holistic approach to raising my children evolved into a calling I couldn't imagine living without. I love everything about creating intentional offerings rooted in both tradition and spiritual herbalim.

I am equally devoted to curating transformative experiences that weave together multiple modalities—from heritage craft-making to ceremonial practices. Over the years, I have held hundreds of workshops and women’s gatherings, each one an offering of remembrance, of healing, and connection. Sharing this work with our community continues to be one of my greatest honors.
